Straight Talk on the Rates
We like to keep things simple and honest. Depending on the season and nights you choose, the nightly rate may mosey a bit, but all the essentials are included:
Electric • Water • High-Speed WiFi • Gas for Heating, Cooking & Grilling
But there’s a couple things we have to charge for 'cause we’re just payin' 'em out to keep the wheels turnin' and the tax man happy:
- 🧼 Cleaning Fee: $129.
Every time a guest heads back down the mountain, our cleaning crew gets to work. We’re talkin' full-scale elbow grease: every sheet and towel is hauled off and washed hot, every appliance is scrubbed ‘til it shines, and every inch of the kitchen and baths is sanitized for the next guests' arrival. - 🐾 Fur & Mud Fund: $49.
We don’t just 'allow' pets around here- We’re happy to have ‘em. This goes to the extra elbow grease it takes to make sure the cabin doesn't look like it's shedding for the next guests and also funds some treats & pet supplies that you're welcome to. We figure that’s a fair shake for everyone.
The Tax Man’s Cut:
Now, we gotta talk about the "contribution" to the folks in Nashville and Benton. Between the 7% TN Sales Tax, the 2.75% Polk County Tax, and that 3% Transient Occupancy Tax, there’s an extra 12.75% tacked on top.
Truth be told, we’re just the middleman here. We collect it, hand it over, and don’t even get to keep a copper penny of it for a new porch swing or nothin'. We sure don't see it comin' back to fix the potholes on our road, neither!
